We support the development of policies and practices that help create healthy, safe and supportive workplaces for education professionals.
We respond to concerns about educator’s health and wellbeing by drawing on an integrated approach to workplace health and wellbeing intervention (Lamontagne, 2014). This approach involves providing evidence-informed policies and interventions that address three components of workplace wellbeing:
- Work-related and other risk factors
- The promotion of mental and physical health at work
- How to respond to mental health problems (regardless of cause) and work-related physical health problems
