Principals and school leaders have demanding and complex roles that entail a wide range of responsibilities. They are required to lead the professional development of staff members, address issues in the school community, control the operations of the school, implement policies, manage school budgets, and drive school improvement. In recent years, school leaders have had to work in increasingly challenging and uncertain circumstances, where it is difficult to predict what will happen next and where there are no easy solutions.
In this context, our research investigates the relationship between school leaders work environments and their health and wellbeing.
