Education Systems and Policies

Summary

We investigate the impact that the structure of the education system and education policies has on educators’ work environments and health and wellbeing. In recent years, education systems have adapted and respond to major tranformations, including growing inequality, digitalisation and the Covid-19 pandemic. We examine how education systems and policies shape education workplaces, structure employees’ work environments and contribute to health and wellbeing outcomes.

Research Significance

By investigating how system wide factors impact on the working environments of educators, we are able to highlight the social, political and economic context within which education workplaces are situated.
